Seed treatment (Maize, wheat, soybeans etc)
Seed treatment is the most economical method for the treatment of extensive crops such as maize (corn) and wheat.
Seed
dressing application rates differ for different crops. Apply to maize
at a rate of 1 g/kg of seed or 25-50 g/ha, to wheat at 1-2 g/kg seed or
40-80 g/ha, or to soybeans at 1 g/kg seed or 50-75 g/ha, together with
a suitable sticker (available from the supplier). For rates on other
crops please consult the table above or contact Plant Health Products
(Pty) Ltd.
A sticker is not required where Eco-T is added during on-farm treatment with insecticides, compatible fungicides, or Rhizobium inoculant. Apply the Eco-T as a dry powder to slightly moist seed.
Drench application on seedlings and potted plants
Apply
as a drench to seedling trays, seedbeds, potted plants and turf at
planting, and monthly thereafter. Mix at a rate of 1 g / 4 litres of
water. Mix the required amount of powder to a thin paste with a small
amount of water before adding the remaining water. Irrigate the fungus
into the root zone after application. The contents of a 250 gram
bottle treats 3000 m2 of seedbed or 3000 speedling trays.
Application on other crops and ornamentals
Eco-T helps control root diseases and enhances growth on a wide variety of crops, vegetables, ornamentals and turf grass species. Please see table above or contact Plant Health Products for information on application rates on specific crops.
