Research - Plant Health Products (Pty) Ltd
PHP is a research-based company, remaining on the cutting edge of new technologies and of new and changing needs in the agricultural sector. Apart from the wealth of research experience of its directors and staff, PHP has the unique advantage of having strong links with the University of KwaZulu-Natal, specifically with the Discipline of Plant Pathology. This department has a strong biocontrol focus, with numerous postgraduate students working on the development of new biological control products. PHP has also developed links, and is actively working, with many other research institutes working in the field of biocontrol.
PHP appreciates the research funding received over the years from the Innovation Fund of the Department of Science and Technology whose mission is to boost the South African economy by ensuring that research is turned into practice. PHP is a classic example of the success of this initiative.
